The basis of water-conserving irrigation regimes for southern Ukraine

Water saving for the main irrigated crops of the Ukraine is obtained by: for winter wheat, completing irrigation earlier; for maize, lowering the pre-watering threshold in the non-critical time; for lucerne, decreasing the number of irrigations after the first harvest.
