The biology of seed germination in some species of Papaveraceae and Hypecoaceae

The biology of seed germination in some species of Papaveraceae and Hypecoaceae

Botanicheskii Zhurnal 76(6): 849-852

The germination of GA-treated and non-treated seeds from 4 Glaucium, 1 Eschscholzia, 4 Roemeria and 3 Papaver species (all Papaveraceae), and 2 Hypecoum species (Hypecoaceae was tested at 18-20 degrees C in light or darkness or at 0-3 degrees in darkness. The species differed markedly in response to germination conditions.
