A reversed-phase HPLC method was developed for the simultaneous determination of vitamins B1 and B2 in fortified dried milk. Vitamins B1 and B2 were extracted with 5% CCl3COOH. The column was eluted with 35:65 of methanol:water solution (containing 0.015 mol/litre BuNH2, pH 4) at 1.5 ml/min as mobile phase. The fractions were monitored at 254 nm. The average recoveries of vitamins B1 and B2 were 84.7 and 91.8% respectively. The method is simple and rapid.
