The effect of the plant growth regulators naphthyl acetic acid and gibberellic acid on growth and quality of Pangola grass

In Pangola grass the production of new roots, total root number and total weight of roots were increased by treatment with NAA with 10-5M being the most effective concentration in most cases in A24 and 10-7M in most cases in A254. Root diameter was increased by 10-7M NAA. Application of GA increased plant height, leaf area and yield with the most effective concentration being 100 p.p.m. In A254, CP content was highest following treatment with 25 p.p.m.
