Field trials were conducted in 1989-90 on loam at the Hanang Wheat Complex and the Selian Agricultural Research Station, Arusha, on wheat Viri and Mbuni, resp., to compare the efficacy of fenoxaprop-P-ethyl with that of other herbicides for the control of Setaria verticillata, Digitaria velutina, Eragrostis aspera and Sorghum arundinaceum in wheat, and to monitor the tolerance of wheat to the herbicides.
