, : The use of a biogenic inductor from Botrytis allii to decrease onion losses during storage. Fiziologiya i Biokhimiya Kul' turnykh Rastenii 23(4): 371-375

Treatment of green onion tops with a biotic inducer of defence reactions obtained from mycelium of B. allii at concn of 0.01-0.03% 2 weeks before harvesting decreased disease development and inhibited bulb sprouting during 5 months of storage. A correlation was found between inhibition of bulb sprouting and increased content of abscisic acid in onion tissues.
