The use of electromagnetic measurements of apparent soil electrical conductivity to predict boulder clay depth
Bulk soil electrical conductivity (ECa) was measured under both dry and wet conditions using two inductive soil conductivity meters to assess the potential of these instruments for measuring boulder clay depth (Dbc) beneath coversand. The relationship between Dbc and ECa was examined by fitting an exponential model (using Dbc as a response variable) and a spherical model (using ECa as a response variable).
