The use of reclaimed municipal wastewater for agricultural irrigation

, : The use of reclaimed municipal wastewater for agricultural irrigation. ICID 3rd Pan American Regional Conference, Mazatlan, Mexico, 1992 Volume 2: 17 pp.

The use of treated municipal waste water for irrigation of crops is increasing as communities face increasing treatment costs and increasing demand on existing water supplies. By using reclaimed waste water to replace a portion of the fresh water use, higher quality water supplies can be protected for human consumption.
