The use of synthetic pheromones for the identification of and prediction of damage caused by Lymantria monacha in the Putna Forest District, Suceava

, : The use of synthetic pheromones for the identification of and prediction of damage caused by Lymantria monacha in the Putna Forest District, Suceava. Revista Padurilor 104(1): 34-37

A description is given of techniques used, and some results, to trap L. monacha in NE Romania in the period 1974-86. A synthetic pheromone, 'Atralymon' was used to bait traps.
