, : The usefulness of cytronic as a conservative of mixed meals for fatteners. Roczniki Naukowe Zootechniki, Monografie i Rozprawy ( 28): 199-210

Cytronic (mixture of acids with a high proportion of phosphoric acid) was added to all mash mixed meals (MM) at 0.3% of the DM and 30-kg samples of the meals were stored in a laboratory or a farm store for 4 months. Temperature and humidity were measured weekly and bacterial and fungal numbers counted once a month. After 4 months there was a marked reduction in bacterial fungal numbers.
