48 Simmental bulls and crossbreeds were finished on diets containing maize silage, meadow hay and mixtures O1 and O2 containing 50% rye or triticale. After 228 days, Simmentals achieved a final body weight of 437.6-448.7 kg, slaughter value 55.8-56.6%, utilization of oat units 6.94-7.16 and protein 662-689 g, while crossbreeds achieved 430.8-448.5 kg, 53.8-55.3%, 6.39-7.02 and 616-669 g, respectively.
