Use of mixed feeding schedules in fish culture: field trials on catla, Catla catla (Hamilton-Buchanan), rohu, Labeo rohita (Hamilton), and common carp, Cyprinus carpio L

Mixed feeding schedules using low- and high-protein diets were studied in farm trials conducted in fertilized earthen ponds. Rohu, Labeo rohita, and common carp, Cyprinus carpio, were used in the first 2 trials, and catla, Catla catla, was also included in trial 3. In a mixed feeding schedule, 2 feeds are used alternately, each for a predetermined number of days. Here, one of 3 mixed feeding schedules was used in conjunction with one of 2 control diets.
