Wind tunnel experiments on the effect of wind blow and adhering salt in salty wind damage on landscaping trees

Salty wind damage on landscaping trees is thought to be caused by the complex of physical effect by wind blow and of chemical effect by adhering salt. In this study, we investigated the condition of damage for 12 landscaping tree species using a wind tunnel. The results showed the complex effects and two common patterns in effect-complex were presented corresponding to tree groups as evergreen and deciduous.
