Zinc concentrations in the serum and leucocytes of dogs with spontaneous hyperadrenocorticism

, : Zinc concentrations in the serum and leucocytes of dogs with spontaneous hyperadrenocorticism. British Veterinary Journal 148(6): 567-570

In studies of 39 healthy dogs between 4 and 14 years of age, and 13 dogs with confirmed spontaneous hyperadrenocorticism (HAC), the concn of Zn in serum of HAC dogs was significantly higher than that in healthy dogs (15.2 v. 11.4 micro mol/litre, respectively).
