, : 'Prima': new carrot cultivar resistant to premature flowering. Horticultura Brasileira 10(1): 44-45

Prima (line AFX272) was selected by several cycles of recurrent selection from Brasilia. It is resistant to bolting during spring and autumn cultivation and to Alternaria dauci. It has dark-orange, cylindrical roots with 18-20 cm length and 3.0-3.5 cm diameter, and vigorous, dark-green, upright leaves of 40-60 cm height.
