, : 15-N study of nitrogen uptake by tall fescue throughout a spring regrowth. Proceedings of the XVI International Grassland Congress, 4-11 October 1989, Nice, France: 167-168

N uptake dynamics by tall fescue (Festuca arundinacea) during spring regrowth in 1982-84 is reported. The sward received nil, medium or non-limiting nitrogen rates. Fertilizer nitrogen recovery in the harvested herbage was similar for 50 and 100 kg N/ha applied (50 and 48%, respectively). Using labelled fertilizer showed that there was no priming effect.
