A new dihydroflavonol glycoside, 5,7,2',5'-tetrahydroxydihydroflavonol 3-O- alpha -L-rhamnopyranoside, was isolated from the aerial parts (leaves) of Plinia pinnata, a tree to 8 m from tropical America.
