, : 5,7,5'-trihydroxy-3,6,2',4'-tetramethoxyflavone from Eupatorium buniifolium. Phytochemistry 36(4): 1085-1086

E. buniifolium is used as a tincture, and for its hepatoprotective and disinfectant properties. A new 2'-oxygenated flavonoid, 5,7,5'-trihydroxy-3,6,2',4'-tetramethoxyflavone, and brickellin, were isolated from the leaves and stems of E. buniifolium (collected from Argentina).
