Causes of pansy (Viola wittrockiana Gams.) decay

The causes of V. wittrockiana decay on experimental plots were investigated in Poland. Botrytis cinerea, Fusarium oxysporum, F. culmurom, F. solani, Thielaviopsis basicola, Pythium debaryanum and Alternaria alternata were isolated from the diseased plants, with Fusarium spp. the most destructive.
