Chemical control of wild rice (Oryza sativa L.) with cycloxydim, Ebro delta, 1993

Field trials were conducted in the Ebro delta in Spain under normal conditions for the region. Plots were flooded from mid-Apr. to early May to encourage wild rice emergence. Two days after draining the plots, cycloxydim was applied at 2 or 4 litres/ha and irrigation was resumed either 1 or 3 d later. Rice Bahia, Senia or Tebre was sown 1 or 2 d after resumption of irrigation.
