Cloning and analysis of the esterase genes conferring insecticide resistance in the potato-peach aphid, Myzus persicae

Cloning and analysis of the esterase genes conferring insecticide resistance in the potato-peach aphid, Myzus persicae

Biochemical Journal London 294(2): 569-574

Full-length complementary DNA clones encoding the esterases (E4 and FE4) that confer insecticide resistance in Myzus persicae were isolated and characterized. The E4 complementary DNA contained an open reading frame of 1656 nucleotides, coding for a protein of 552 amino acids.
