Combined effect of solarization and glyphosate on Cyperus rotundus L. control

In a field trial conducted in Saragossa, land infested with C. rotundus was covered for 6 or 10 weeks with transparent plastic, following flood irrigation. No significant difference was found between 6 and 10 weeks solarization; both substantially reduced C. rotundus numbers.
