Delphinidin 3-xylosylrutinoside in petals of Linum grandiflorum
A new anthocyanidin triglycoside was isolated from the scarlet flowers of Linum grandiflorum cv Scarlet Flax as a major anthocyanin. The structure of this pigment was determined to be delphinidin 3-O-(2-O-(beta-D(xylopyranosyl)-6-O-(alpha-L-rhamnopyranosyl)-beta-D-glucopyranoside).
