Demodex folliculorum and Demodex brevis (Acarida) as factors of chronic marginal blepharitis
Demodex infestation was found in 68% of 568 patients with chronic inflammation of the eyelid margins, seen between 1982 and 1989 at the Szczecin Medical Academy, Poland. The patients had not responded to routine treatment.
