Demographic statistics of Cephalonomia stephanoderis Betrem (Hymenoptera: Bethylidae) at constant temperatures

, : Demographic statistics of Cephalonomia stephanoderis Betrem (Hymenoptera: Bethylidae) at constant temperatures. Folia Entomologica Mexicana ( 87): 61-72

Life tables were developed for Cephalonomia stephanoderis at 17, 22, 27, 32 and 37 degrees C, 75% RH and LD 12:12, using Hypothenemus hampei as a host. Fecundity and survivorship were affected by extremes of temperature, with high mortality (98%) of immature stages at 17 degrees C, while at 37 degrees C all individuals died during the egg or larval stages. Adult longevity was inversely related to temperature.
