Description of six new capsular types (29-34) of Streptococcus suis

, : Description of six new capsular types (29-34) of Streptococcus suis. Journal of Veterinary Diagnostic Investigation 7(3): 405-406

Strains representing capsular types 29, 30, 32, and 34 were recovered from diseased pigs, and strains representing capsular types 31 and 33 were isolated from a diseased calf and a disease lamb, respectively. The proposed reference strains were untypable with antisera raised against previously described capsular types.
