Double layer's source-sink for rice high yielding cultivation

Rice Yayou 2 was grown in the field with 2 types of soil-water management: narrow bed with dense ditch (NBDD), which used 0.67-m beds and ditches 0.26 m wide and deep; and conventional paddy fields (CPF). Grain yield was 8.50 t/ha with CPF and 9.22 t with NBDD.
