Abstract
In a field experiment during the kharif seasons of 1990-92 at Akola, Maharashtra, cotton cv. AHH-468 and AKH-4 were dusted with 4, 7 or 10 g cement dust/msuperscript 2 per day from seedling to physiological maturity stage daily or not dusted. Cotton yield decreased with increasing levels of cement dust. In AHH-468, cement dusting decreased cotton yields by 13.32-56.56% compared with 14.07-39.92% in AKH-4.
