Effect of plant growth regulators on a white clover (Trifolium repens L.) seed crop. II. Seed yield components and seed yield

The effects of four plant growth regulators (chlormequat chloride, daminozide, paclobutrazol and triapenthenol) on Trifolium repens seed yield and its components were assessed under field conditions at Palmerston North, New Zealand over two consecutive years. Number of T. repens inflorescences increased following paclobutrazol application, while chlormequat chloride, daminozide and triapenthenol did not affect inflorescence production.
