Effect of rainfall pattern on sorghum yield

Journal of Soils and Crops 4(1): 64-67

Daily meteorological data for the period 1962-89 for Maharashtra State were used to calculate seasonal, monthly, fortnightly and weekly means. Sorghum yield data were categorized as best, normal, deficient and worst on the basis of their deviation from a mean sorghum yield of 603 kg/ha.
