Effect of regularity of digesta flow on evaluation of endogenous amino acids in pigs with ileo-rectal anastomosis

Effect of regularity of digesta flow on evaluation of endogenous amino acids in pigs with ileo-rectal anastomosis

Acta Veterinaria et Zootechnica Sinica 25(5): 395-399

3 pigs with ileo-rectal anastomoses were fed on purified nitrogen-free diets containing 2, 5 or 8% crude fibre and changes in DM and amino acids in excreta studied. The coefficent of variance of DM in excreta decreased with increasing fibre each day.
