Effect of rejuvenation pruning and increasing plant density on yields of old seedling tea bushes interplanted with clonal tea plants

Tea 14(1): 13-20

Old, moribund seedling bushes were pruned at ground level or at a height of 15 or 30 cm in 1983 and either interplanted or not interplanted with clone 31/8 so as to give 3 different spacings. DM production was usually greatest for higher-pruned bushes and was not sigificantly affected by clonal interplanting.
