Effect of salt stress on the physiology of 15-day old seedlings of maize

Effect of salt stress on the physiology of 15-day old seedlings of maize

Neo Botanica 2(1): 49-51

Five-day-old maize seedlings were transferred to nutrient solution and subjected to salt stress. Increasing salinity levels decreased shoot and root length, shoot:root ratio, specific leaf weight and total leaf area compared with the unstressed control.
