For 279 heifers, the highest average 6-month body weight per quarter of the year was for animals born in the 1st quarter (159.96 kg), and the lowest for those born during the 2nd quarter (142.73 kg). The highest 18-month weight was for heifers born during the 3rd quarter (398.48 kg), and the lowest for those born during the 2nd quarter (364.6 kg).
