Effect of seed dressing on pea (Pisum sativum L.) plants. I. Yield and sowing value of seeds

Effect of seed dressing on pea (Pisum sativum L.) plants. I. Yield and sowing value of seeds

Folia Horticulturae 5(1): 51-60

In field trials in 1988-90, peas Beniaminek and Nike were grown from seed treated with Funaben T (thiram + carbendazim) or Zaprawa nasienna T (thiram) or from untreated seeds. Seed treatment reduced average numbers of pods/plant, seeds/pod and seeds/plant but reductions in 1000-seed weight and seed yield/plant were not significant. None of the reductions were significant in Nike. All the yield components varied significantly between years.
