Effect of seed inoculation of soybean cultivars by three strains of Rhizobium japonicum on nodulation and grain yield

In a field experiment during the kharif seasons of 1988-89 at Indore, Madhya Pradesh, 12 soyabean cultivars were seed inoculated with R. japonicum strains Nafed standard, Nafed super culture or Nafed super culture-2 or not inoculated. Seed inoculation increased seed yields and nodulation.
