Seeds of the chilli Co.1 were treated with either fungicides (0.4% tetramethylthiuram disulphide (TMTD) or captan) or various microorganisms: viz. conidial suspensions (4.5-5.8 x 109/ml in 0.1% carboxymethylcellulose) of Trichoderma viride (isolate 2 and 3), T. harzianum (isolate 2), or T. hamatum; a sclerotial suspension of Laetisaria arvalis; bacterial suspensions of Pseudomonas fluorescens and Bacillus subtilis.
