Effect of seed treatment with gibberellic acid on growth and yield of okra (Abelmoschus esculentus L. Moench)



Journal of Soils and Crops 3(1): 27-29



Okra seeds were treated with GA3 (0, 25, 50 or 75 p.p.m.), then grown with N:P2O5 fertilizer rates of 20:20, 24:24, 28:28 and 40:40 kg/ha to give 50, 60, 70 and 100% of the full recommended rate, respectively. Seed treatment with 25 p.p.m.
