Effect of seed treatment with insecticides on black gram galerucid beetle



Madras Agricultural Journal 80(2): 39-41



Field tests carried out in Tamil Nadu, India, showed that when seed of black gram was treated with carbosulfan at 0.5 and 0.75% a.i./kg, the damage to seedlings by Madurasia obscurella was significantly lower compared with untreated controls after 15 and 30 days of sowing.
