In laboratory and field experiments in Poland, aqueous and alcohol extracts of selected species of Boraginaceae (Anchusa officinalis, Lycopsis arvensis, Asperugo procumbens, Borago officinalis, Echium vulgare, Symphytum officinale) were tested for their antifeedant activity and effect on feeding and development of Pieris brassicae.
