The experiment was conducted on crossbred male calves (0.5% Jersey x 0.25% Holstein-Friesian x 0.25% Gir; 0.5% Holstein-Friesian x 0.25% Jersey x 0.25% Gir; 0.5% Brown Swiss x 0.25% Holstein-Friesian x 0.25% Gir) to study their heat tolerance coefficient (HTC) and physiological responses during summer and monsoon seasons to alterations in their housing management. The animals were exposed to sun or confined in a shed.
