Effect of slaughtering stage on production results of early-weaned and fattened lambs



Krmiva 37(2): 89-95



Lambs were weaned early and slaughtered immediately after weaning or finished to 112 days old. The feeding period was of 2 phases, from 28 to 84, and 85 to 112 days old, during which the lambs were given a diet containing 11.29 and 10.46 MJ ME and 148 and 148 g digestible protein per kg. Liveweight of lambs at 28, 56, 84 and 112 days old was 10.37, 16.26, 22.97 and 29.08 kg, respectively.
