Effect of slope exposure on winter hardiness of grasses

Effect of slope exposure on winter hardiness of grasses

Journal of the Korean Society of Grassland Science 14(2): 93-98

Dactylis glomerata, Phleum pratense, Festuca arundinacea and Phalaris arundinacea were assessed for winter hardiness in the mountainous pastures of the Taekwalyong area. Plant vigour before the onset of winter influenced growth during spring, field survival rates and winter hardiness.
