In a field experiment with open top chambers at Beltsville, Maryland in 1992, cotton Deltapine 50 and Deltapine 90 (Gossypium hirsutum) were subjected to 2 levels of CO2 (350 or 500 micro mol/mol) and O3 (charcoal filtered (CF) or non-filtered (NF) air) under well-watered or water-stressed conditions, and physiological measurements were recorded at 65, 78, 85 and 92 d after emergence (DAE).
