Effect of soil pH and nitrogen source on the nutrient status in peach: II. Micronutrients

The long-term effects of soil pH (5.6, 5.9 or 6.2) and N source (Ca(NO3)2, Ca(NO3)2+KNO3, NaNO3, NH4NO3, (NH4)2SO4, or poultry manure) on the micronutrient status (Al, Mn, Fe, Zn and Cu) in the leaves, branches, trunks and roots of peach Pekin trees on Lovell rootstocks, grown in an orchard at the Sandhills Research Station, North Carolina, between 1975 and 1988, were investigated. Plant-available Mn and Al contents in the soil were also determined.
