Effect of soil sodicity on growth and physiological parameters of Karonda (Carissa corandas, L.)

Annals of Plant Physiology 7(2): 211-215

Seedlings of C. corandas were grown in naturally saline soils (41.0 ESP) and artificially saline (12-60 ESP) soils for 12 months under pot culture during 1987-88. All growth components (height, number of leaves, stem diameter, root length, number of roots, leaf area and chlorophyll content) were decreased with increasing ESP.
