In a field experiment during the winter seasons of 1987-89 at New Delhi, lentils Pusa 4 were not irrigated or irrigated 45 and/or 80 d after sowing (DAS) with or without kaolin spray, and given 0, 40 or 80 kg P2O5/ha. Seed yield was highest (1.57 t/ha) with irrigations at 45 + 80 DAS, and increased with up to 40 kg P2O5.
