A high quality silage was obtained from wilted lucerne (46% moisture), with or without addition of 4% molasses, 4% of a mixed additive (47.4% maize + 47% sugarbeet pulp + 5.6% molasses) or 0.05% Lactobacillus plantarum and Streptococcus faecium.
