Lipolytic activity was determined in seeds of rape Bolko, Ceres, Liporta and Mar harvested very early, early, at the optimum date or late and without use of a desiccant or after application of Spodnam and/or Harvade or Reglone Lipolytic activity varied considerably between cultivars and was higher at pH 8.0 than at 5.5. The effect of desiccants varied between cultivars, but Reglone generally reduced lipolytic activity.
