Effect of some fertilizers on development of Meloidogyne incognita and growth of cowpea

The effect of 2 levels of cow dung, poultry dung, ammonium nitrate, potassium sulphate and superphosphate on development and reproduction of M. incognita on cowpea Balady, was investigated in greenhouse trials. All fertilizers reduced the population of nematodes in soil and roots, except for potassium sulphate where population reduction was only evident in the roots, and the higher level (200 g/pot) of poultry dung where the nematode population increased.
